Muna is a Hip-Hop artist based in Los Angeles, CA. His sound is built on alternative hip-hop, blending his West Coast rap roots with jazz, neo-soul, smooth vocals, and catchy layered rhyme schemes. His catalogue has tracks for every scenario: long car rides, parties, late-night vibes, something to smoke to, something to cry to, wherever you are. He has punchlines for days, sweet harmonies, and multi-layered bars galore, so it's anything but a dull listen. Fans can expect a groovy, lyrical, melodic, jazzy, chill vibe. His music shares DNA with artists like Smino, Kenny Mason, JID, Aminé, Isaiah Rashad, Masego, and Mavi. ​​Muna has been making music since he was 5 years old: he started by learning the piano and performing at classical recitals, but he would also love singing with his sister at home during his childhood. He grew up with a fond love for poetry and literature, which went on to become the driving force behind his lyrical flows. As of right now, he’s fresh off the release of his new mixtape, The Butterfly Tapes, released at the end of 2025. Some career highlights of his include performing as a Guest Artist for Josh Teed’s Tour stop, Bass n’ Blunts, in San Fransisco, his first album, ‘my bad lol.’ reaching 2.5 million streams, and his single, ‘inertia.’, reaching 3.5 million streams. His fans range from stoners & Rap fans to Jazzheads and Neo-Soul/R&B lovers. Currently, he's gearing up to drop another album by early 2027, so stay tuned!
